- What is Donk Birds?
It's just some little water color comic I paint. The Donk Birds themselves are based on a sofa size acrylic my wife did.
- What is Donk Birds about; what can I expect to find here?
Donk Birds is about large poorly painted birds who have strong opinions about everything, which they express with ample profanity and a lot of poo-jokes. That's pretty much all that's here.
- When does Donk Birds update? When should I check the site?
I update the comic almost every other day, if you happen to be on the same side of the international date line as me that means every even numbered day of the month. But that means that there will be two days with no new strip when there are 31 days in the month because I will not put a new one up till the second of the following month. The other parts of the site get updated when I decide to add something or mess with the layout and what not. You should check the site constantly whenever you have a free moment; see I have delusions of grandeur and get overly excited by unique visitors and page hits.
- Why do you make Donk Birds?
I really needed an outlet for all the stupid I can't work into conversation.
- Isn't it disingenuous to call this page FAQs when you're the one writing both the questions and the answers?
Yes, yes it is.
- This site looks pretty awful, are you ever going to do something about it?
This site is built on cannibalized php and badly composed html, I'm lucky it works never mind looks good; but yes I will try and make it less bland at some point.
- Why are so many things blurred out in the first few comics?
The TOS for the company that hosts Donk Birds prohibits grossly offensive or vulgar material, while it doesn't specifically proscribe profanity I decided not to risk it, after all I paid them forty dollars. After a while though I got tired of having to edit the images so I just stoped censoring myself.
